Call for Officer Nominations!  - Do you have ideas that would improve ISACA?  Are you looking to take a leadersh= ip role?  It’s that time of= year to nominate yourself or others to run for President, Vice President, Treasu= rer, and Secretary.  Also, positions included Marketing, Web Master, Education Director (Meeting planner), Certifications Director, Membership, and Logistics/Arrangements Director, w= ill be open for the 2010-2011 year – these are not elected by the members= hip but rather by the new president.  So volunteer today!  Email me wit= h any questions/comments:   president@isaca-km.org. 

Updated Bylaws  - In preparing f= or officer nominations, the current Board is proposing an update to the bylaws= so that the elected Vice President is also the President-Elect and would thus automatically be President the following year.  The IIA has followed this model an= d we think this is an effective model worth adopting.  All bylaw updates must be approved= by the membership so if you have strong feelings either way, please let me kno= w so we can weigh in before approval.  Email me with any questions/comments:   president@isaca-km.org
